Born in Drogheda, Cora Sherlock’s work has been selected as part of the “Date with an Agent” events, an international competition for aspiring authors.  She has performed her work as part of Dublin’s Culture Night.  For many years she has been a member of Toastmasters.

She loves her iPod and maps, hates milk and is a fan of Napoleon and pop-up books.  She is still hoping to find a pop-up book that will contain all of these loves/hates.  In an ideal world it would also play We Take Care Of Our Own by Bruce Springsteen but she accepts that this might be too far-fetched.

When she’s having an off-day, watching JAWS or Jurassic Park will usually cheer her up.

She is currently writing a children’s fantasy book which is inching towards completion in spite of YouTube.
